Today, I finally managed to stand up using only my knees.

I thank God that He guided me to this. :)

Also today, I sent an SMS message to one person who is having a one-on-one session with me regarding spiritual growth. With all troubles I've been thinking, plus family matters, I decided and informed him that I will stop attending. I do hope he understands..

I've read something about their church, and I hope it's the Lord that spoke to me regarding my decision.

Well, in time, He will reveal to me what's the right and correct way. I've been always believing in Him, but I also know where I'm short at.

It's time for me to stand up on my own. I need to improve my relationship with Him.

'Til next time.

And because of yesterday's activity, I fell down three times:

1. Last night, before going to bed (after making the entry yesterday), while taking the first step in our stairs. I made the tower of shoe boxes fell and made loud sound that all sleeping inside our house were awakened.

2. This morning, when I woke up and started walking to go down, I stumbled down.

3. In the bus waiting place, I fell suddenly after walking a few steps. And this hurt my butt quite badly.

So I considered and convinced myself that I really cannot go to work today. My aunt who is a nurse advised me to have a checkup with an orthopedic doctor, and my mother accompanied me to the nearest hospital covered by my health card.

It was during this time that I now really felt my trembling knees and hurting thigh muscles. I was using a long umbrella as my cane to stand up coming from a sitting position, and vice versa. When my turn came for the checkup with the doctor, I immediately told him how this happened and showed how I cannot balance myself while on half-knee bend.

And thus his prescription:

1. Take a pain killer to remove the pain of the muscles and potassium chloride to provide potassium in my body.

2. Rehydration process, by drinking lots of water and Gatorade, so as to store my electrolytes.

3. Rest for three days.

If I still cannot stand after three days, then I'm scheduled to have a return checkup and blood test to see what's really wrong with me.

I'm just really grateful He guided me last night in going home, even if I was having the pain going up and down the train station stairs, and today, that I didn't bump my head first whenever I fell.

I will rest this, and I will stand up with my two knees again, casting all my fear and worries to Him. I know He will!

And have regular exercise, sleep, rest, and banana three times a day!

'Til next time.

And there was a game called laser tag. Where you use guns equipped with "laser beams" and you're wearing a vest full of colorful lights blinking on and off.

And it was my first time to try it. Didn't know that is was fun, but if you don't have enough exercise/warm-up beforehand, you might end up having leg/hip cramps. Like me. Walking up and down the train station when I went home was really a pain! I'm not yet in my late 50's but I felt like one!

And if you forgot to remember the reminder to bring an extra shirt, then you're out to soak yourself with your pure sweat. Like me, and everyone else, except for those who remembered. But maybe this is really the fun part, knowing you really had fun and seeing all your other friends soaking wet, too.

I hope to try this again. Next time I'll really remember my name handle inside the game, and it's not that "Active" logo in my gun's LCD again!

Hmmm. I just found the time now, checking my previous posts here.

And I say, nostalgic. Even found a relatively new comment that made my head quite big, lol. Either way, I may start updating this blog again.

I need to chronicle those future stories I hope to weave in my way, every second, every minute, everyday. And polish my going-into-the-rotten writing skills haha.

Revamp? Yes, probably. And will be adding more content, like photos of which I think worth sharing to everyone. Like one below.

Illuminate.

Look up, for I bestow.
This light, forevermore.
For you, I will glow.
To Him, you will adore.

I'll make it on stroll! Hoping for the best!

P.S.
It's because of you why I thought of checking this, I need to shift my focus to other things as of now.

A year full of excitement, some resentment, adventures, misadventures, meeting new people and gaining new friends, ravaging calamities that made each one of us stronger, lonely moments from unexpected exit of notable people - these new experiences I got really are worth a watch back for this year 2009. Even though through out most of the year the world was confronted with a lot of misfortunes, it is a good thing that we are still in good shape despite these. And all thanks to Him. :)

Now another new Year of the Tiger will unfold. May all of you have a Blessed and Prosperous New Year!

Inevitable. Even if sometimes you wish it won't happen. Or probably was caught off-guard, that eventually it happened.

Ondoy made a knee-deep floodwater (+ canal water) inside our house, but I know this situation is better than those from really seriously hit.

Which I should be thankful. And this is a once-of-a-lifetime experience I surely won't forget.

There's still a fourth of the whole year remaining. I hope all things go well soon. Kindly guide us, my family, our nation, the world.

It's that time again. Yeah, a post for this month.

Been busy having shoots every week (as a friend told/noticed so). I basically wasted my precious weekend to go to events and click my camera's shutter button all the way, that at some point I really ran out of batteries lol.

This month, I got the chance to:

Amane Misa.
bump with a cute Amane Misa character

Cherry on Top.
eat a delicious ice cream in a birthday surprise for a friend

Goblet Fountain.
look around a bridal expo and see those glamour and style for setting receptions

Silhouette.
stroll on the bayside and take pictures of people in silhouette

and

Sagala.
enjoy a Flores de Mayo parade with those colorful gowns and beautiful sagalas

That's all for May. I wonder what's in store for me for the next month.

'Til next time.

Swine Influenza Virus.

I just hope it'll be contained soon.

I'll be having my temperature checked every morning before I go to work. Oh well, better safe than sorry.
